Inspired by the world around us, Jenny Reeves' jewelry is a reflection of her innate attention to detail in nature. And as her students know, her teaching is just as natural as her work.

"My whole life I’ve loved playing outside and making stuff. My grandma taught me to cook and sew when I was little. She had meticulous attention to detail which she impressed upon me, and also the mouth of a sailor which I may have picked up too. Thanks Nana!

After moving to San Francisco from Philadelphia I had lots of different jobs - accountant, lifeguard, muralist, bartender - before taking that first metalsmithing class and suddenly.. I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up!

Fire, hammers, check. Lots of tiny OCD details. Sustainable materials. Yay!

Launching my biz was the culmination of studying classical goldsmithing and years of experimentation and skill building. Evolving signature textures, learning how to work with them and finding the right balance between earthy and edgy.

Because a lot of us straddle two worlds. We love technology and modern life but still connect with nature and the past. There are places where they live side by side, where you can drive 10 minutes out of a city and be in a wild place and barely see another human. Maybe a bobcat. And it’s magical!

I make jewelry to reflect those different facets of our nature. We can be part city mouse, part country mouse, hustle hard and chill hard. Equally enjoy a week camping in back-country and wine tasting on a veranda, with only a shower between them. You’ll want the shower. Everyone else will thank you too.

Glass Blower
From vision to execution, Simone Crestani, is a refined and contemporary glass artist. With abstract inspirations from nature, he is able to capture motion within glass in an extraordinary fashion.

"I admire nature, it fills me with awe and inspires me to give form to my works.

I am an artisan first, before being an artist.

Glass working is a very complex technique that requires years of study and extreme dedication. I was fortunate to learn this technique while I was still young. Glass chose me, before I had any idea what I wanted to become.

I feel blessed to be the medium through which glass can express itself, in the continuous search for its full potential.

In these years of study, my thoughts were forged by the delicate rules of glass working: ignited by the high melting temperatures, stemmed by the risk of breaking, withstanding the test of time, continuously searching for limits to overcome.

It is only by controlling the material that I feel I am able to create my works exactly as I imagined them.

Glass uses my hands to reach beyond the boundaries imposed by the technique.

For me, the natural forms are examples of equilibrium and imperfect elegance. I rework these forms through the language of art, mixing them with contemporary contents and giving life to an idea that is then expressed in my works.

Tradition and innovation cooperate in my projects: I use the beauty I see around me, I shape it from a decorative take, enhancing its essence and poetry.

Glass is the perfect material to sum up these contrasts. In my works I love to see coexistence between fragile form and concrete details, hard contours and harmony of elegance.

The mountain is the place closest to my heart, where I can reach my thoughts and physical exertion helps me to make way among the superstructures that crowd everyday life. There I find new vigour and often also the inspiration necessary to develop my work."

Known for his distinct style and captivating design, Tendai Designs' creativity is truly one-of-a-kind.

"I seek to showcase the exquisite beauty of gems by wrapping them in precious metals. My designs are deeply influenced by my travels throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America and by my connection with gem collectors from all over the world. I am constantly on the lookout for unusual and rare gemstones that I can make into a unique and exquisite work of wearable art.

A philosophy major in college, I found I had a natural affinity for making jewelry and taught myself how to wire wrap. Later, I took classes with master jewelers at the Revere Academy, San Francisco and became a trained bench jeweler. The last ten years of curiosity and exploration have led me to a combination of techniques and styles you will not see anywhere else. Each art piece was made at my home studio in Long Beach, California.

Each piece of jewelry was created by Nick, by hand, never to be re-created again. Every piece of Tendai Jewelry is completely one of a kind and has its own story. From the origins of the stones and the tales that got them here, to the highs and lows of creation, and the ultimate triumph over imagination and realization!"

With a natural eye for color, form and nature, Emily Marie is a talented glass artist and teacher.

"I fell in love with Borosilicate Glass in 2008. This medium has led me on some exceptional adventures, and I hope to share some of them with you here. My work is varied and fluid, but always rooted in a fascination with science and a great love of the natural world. With my work, I aim to spread some of that love to you. I am based in Salt Lake City, Utah."
